| Hi Joe, The Porterdale Web site is wonderful. I immediately notified my family and friends as soon as I found it, and they love it as much as I do. I was born at the Porterdale Hospital in 1954, and attended all 8 grades of school there as well. I have precious memories of swimming at the pool during the summer months and walking to the drug store with my best friend each afternoon after school dismissed to buy lemon sours or butter pecan ice cream. I look forward to attending the reunion and am excited about getting involved with the restoration projects. Sheila is my sister and she is thrilled to see the things that are taking place in Porterdale. Many thanks for everything you are doing and for the wonderful web site.
