CHIEF POTTS LIVED IN THE LARGE HOUSE NEXT TO THE RIVER AND IM GUESSING THE TIME FRAME TO BE 1948-1960..WE LIVED IN THE THIRD HOUSE FROM RIVER AND I BELIEVE I WAS AROUND 9-10 YEARS OLD.

 

Prentis, what time frame do you think Mr. Potts lived on elm.........nice hearing so quickly from you....

 

My father worked for the Bibb for 43 years.......in supervision , mostly in the cloth room.........we are real good friends with Boyce Davis, Royce Davis, all of the Davis.....we lived on Jackson road most of my years in Porterdale.

I played baseball in my teenage years and Billy Crowell was coach

 

my graduation class  from high school  56...............Cleveland Digby, Spencer Boyd, George Grove, Wayne Kirk, Paul Hinton, Joe McClure. Patsy Shira, just a few of my classmates '56 from Porterdale

 

Do you remember Hartmans Drugstore ........worked for him in High school ,  yes as soda jerk.......those  were good times to remember....... Gib Loyd
