Subject: Workers at mill

Please add Edward Z. MOONEY who worked at the mill . He was a supervisor , but I don't know the department . He died in Dec. 1926 there in Porterdale & is buried at Liberty Methodist Church.

He left a wife , Lula Munsey MOONEY & 4 children - Margie , Doris , Louise & Roy , ranging in age from 3 to 8 years old.

His sisters Carrie & Callie MOONEY (twins) who married HEWELL brothers  (Birt & William) also worked there when they were 11 years old .

They were three of twelve children of John & Mary Jane MOONEY . I'm sure some of the other children worked there too.

Names of some of the  other children:

  • Will MOONEY  m. Ella Florence SPEER

  • George W. MOONEY m. Sarah Lucy Clyde WALDEN

  • Robert Early MOONEY

  • Eula MOONEY m. "Red" DEARING

  • Henry Charlie MOONEY m. Cora M. KINNETT

  • Nan MOONEY m. George DAY

  • Fanny MOONEY m. Charles Adolphus BURCH

Thanks .

Evelyn J. MOONEY
