The BIBB Motto |
Source: Kay Coggin I was looking through Mom's book again for information, I noticed something that you might be interested in knowing. Have you ever thought of where the Bibb motto originated? It seems that Mr. E. T. Comer, president of the Bibb Manufacturing Company, read a poem written in the Minnesota Exchange, printed in 1921, with no author given. The line "Keep On Keeping On" stuck in his mind and he suggested to the board of the company that this be used as the Bibb motto. This phrase was instilled in the villager's minds. |
