2.William7, b. 27 May 1789, Wilmington. He is said to have m. 4 Feb. 1818, Bennington, Rebecca Cutler. However, based on the ages of his children, and his household in the 1810 census, either this date is a decade too late, or else he had an earlier wife, mother of his older children. He was in Essex, Essex Co., NY in 1810 to 1820, and in Westport, Essex Co. in 1830. He died before 1840, and his family returned to Essex, where the widow was still living in 1850.
