I. John¹ CHENOWETH¹ married Mary CALVERT, daughter of John CALVERT and Judith STAMPER.² He was born in 1682/83 at Wales or Cornwall Co., England.³ He died circa May 1746 at Fredrerick Co., VA.⁴

A. John² CHINOWETH⁵^,⁶^,⁷ was born in 1706.⁸ He married Mary SMITH on 26 November 1730.⁹ His estate was probated on 5 March 1771 at Frederick County, Virginia.¹⁰

1. William³ CHENNERWORTH¹¹^,¹²^,¹³ was born on 8 January 1732.¹⁴ He married Ruth CALVERT before 1755.¹⁵ His estate was probated in 1772 at Frederick County, Virginia.¹⁶

a) Major William⁴ CHENOWETH¹⁷^,¹⁸^,¹⁹ was born on 10 June 1760 at Virginia.²⁰^,²¹ He married Mary VANMETRE, daughter of Jacob VANMETRE and Letitia STROUD, after 5 March 1781.²²^,²³ He died on 16 April 1828 at Nelson County, Kentucky, at age 67.²⁴^,²⁵
