was born on the 28 day of Oct 1810 and son of Tryon Yancey Sr. and grandson of Col. Thornton Yancey and the son of Patsy Harris, the daughter of Charles Harris. I beleiev they were all formerly of Virginia and on the Yancey side they migrated from France & on the mother [____?] [Eng?]land
