A.T. Yager Connections

Web Page created by Bill Smith

These pages includes sketches I have compiled from my family history research for my own use. I am posting them on the Internet in the interest of sharing this information with interested parties. If you appear to be directly related, based on the information in the the sketches, or have comments to share with me about these sketches, I would be happy to hear from you. I do not do research for others, nor am I particularly interested in speculative relationships or unrelated surname discussions. There are many other worthy sites for these activities. I hope you enjoy reading some of these interesting stories.

Pioneer Sketches The Early Years - Bill and Nancy Smith

Introduction and Overview

This page is being posted immediately after the A.T. Yager Connection reunion held at The River House, near Coon Rapids, IA, on Saturday, 26 Jun 1998. We seek contact from any other descendants that were not able to attend the reunion, as well as from those who were there!!

This page is a bare skeleton of the family. Much more detail is available, but, much more detail is sought, as well. First, we encourage each family unit that can/will, to create a web page of their own to share their family history information. (I will be happy to help any interested person to do this - young or old. Bill) This way, we can make a link directly to your page. Or, at a minimum, share your family information with us. Or mailing address is included in the reunion information later on this page.

We also want to take a moment to extend A BIG THANKS to those special people who volunteered their valuable time to put together each of the reunions, and are, right now, planning the next one!

This is our tiny contribution. Join either effort, please. Barbara Edwards and Ellen DeVilbiss are also anxious to help gather additional family history information. Ellen, for instance, is gathering wedding pictures, among other things, to have visual comparisons of family members at comparable ages. What would you like to do? Please answer questions each of us will be sending to many of you, from time to time.

Compilers, Bill and Nancy Smith (her line is Harriet Ellen Yager Weaver, via her daughter, Freyda, and her daughter, Ruth Thomas Bolger). 28 Jun 1998.
