Monday, February 10, 1936

Did usual work. Still cold. Went over furniture with O. Cedar. Few trains got through. At nite Leo and I and Bussy went to Joan Crawford in “I Live My Life.” Surely was grand. Came home and popped corn.

Tuesday, February 11, 1936

Usual work. Wrote letters and took popular song words. Up to sextette practice. To library & post office. Got a little bottle of Velour lotion. At nite wrote in diary, letters, etc. Got the mail.

Wednesday, February 12, 1936

Still pretty badly blocked. Went up to school in p.m. Again to music practice. Wrote letters. Listened to Gracie Allen & Fred Allen.

Thursday, February 13, 1936

Usual work. Up to school in p.m. Practiced B.B. Supposed to have tournament (county) put off till tomorrow. Listened to radio and read “Sorrell and Son.”

Friday, February 14, 1936

Up to school house all day making banners for tournament's tomorrow. Practiced B.B. in p.m. Still real cold and lots of snow – letters – listend to Bob Burns. Read.

Saturday, February 15, 1936

Usual work. Curled hair. Surely stiff from B.B. Didn't got to tourney. Carroll beat Manning & Glidden. We beat Carroll at nite and won. Sat with Helen Jensen & Bernieice Patrick.

 

Sunday, February 16, 1936

Still pretty stiff. Finished “The Ten Commandments” in bed. Up at 10:30. Cleaned up house. Had chicken & noodles. Listened to radio. Mom made taffy. Ray Perkins' Amateurs. Frank Cromet. Chicken & Biscuit for supper. League social at Textor's. Walked home with Don.
