Monday, January 6, 1936

B. B. practice 'till 6:30. and then went over to Standard Bearers at church. Decided to order new white jerseys for Friday's game.

 

Tuesday, January 7, 1936

Glee Club after school and B.B. practice till 6:30. My new hat and coat came. Surely like it. Fixed buttons & belt on it. Read book & listened to Radio.

Wednesday, January 8, 1936

B. B. practice till quite late. Wore new coat and hat. At nite went to show "Kentucky Blue Streak." Not much good.

Thursday, January 9, 1936

Glee club after school. Curled Helen J's and Beth T's hair. Helen & I went to "A Night at the Opera." Surely good - "Alone.[musical note]. Louise and Rasmus here when I got home.

Friday, January 10, 1936

B. B. game with Exira. Wore new white jerseys. Surely good game and crowd. Won both of them.

 

Saturday, January 11, 1936

Usual work. Curled hair. Read and finished "The Iron Woman." Bussy & I went to cowboy show "Bar 20 Rides Again." Kinda good. Got Cracker Jacks. Getting cold out.

S. S. and church. Folks at Gertrude's. I stayed home and got book report. Had good time. League at night. Helen B. & I to show. "Dangerous." Franchot Tone & Bette Davis. Surely good! Helen had new car.
