[above added: Pete gave me keenest pair of hose – 12:00]

Jeannette Kinnick Brideson born at 3 this morning. Doing nicely. We went over to Lil's for dinner. Leo stayed home. I have 2 of the clootest {sic} cole sores (sp?) you ever saw. Took bath & listened to Jack Benny & Ripley. Pete came at 7:30. Went to “ Texas Rangers.” Really good. Sat with Leo & Ida. Over by Bayard afterwards. Pete really looked swellegant! And I couldn't do anything about it! Was I angry? Halter neck.
