Willtown Congregation
Willtown was on maps in 1680 and may have had residents as early as 1685. An article in the South Carolina Historical and Genelaogical Magazine Vol 10, p. 20 - 31 discusses the early history of Willtown also named New London. A new publication entitled Willtown An Archaeological and Historical Perspective, published the South Carolina State Archives contains information on a multiyear archeaological dig at the old townsite.
The congregation's records were published in the South Carolina Historical and Genealogical Magazine Vol 60.
