Lee County Historical Photos

These photos are courtesy of Ms. Vesta Lou Hubbard, who has been providing the Hills and Hollers site with the historical stories concerning Ben Hur, VA and the surrounding areas in Lee County. These photos are invaluable in recording the history. There is only one photo in the group which is not from Lee County. It is the Union Depot Train Station of Appalachia. (Wise County) I have scanned the photos in their original sizes, complete with Vesta's handwritten notes. In order to keep the pages from taking an excessive time to load, I have reduced the resolution on some of the photos. If you want a high resolution copy, please use the email link and I will ask Vesta for permission to forward to you.
