Kincanon Cemetery

Kincanon Cemetery is a couple of miles south of Boonsville. Go south from Boonsville on Fm Rd 920 and turn west on CR 3850. In about a mile you will cross an old bridge. The cemetery is straight ahead, west of the bridge. It's visible on the right side of the road out in the pasture about 100 yards.

In March of 2001 we took pictures of 17 headstones. An earlier survey had information on 22 headstones, and we included that extra data in Parenthesis ( ).

The cemetery was very grown-up in brush. One headstone, that I didn't get a picture of, was buried in dirt and had fire ants on it. Galley Steven's large headstone had fallen engraving side down.
