It hasn't been determined from land records yet, but we think that Henry Mentlo Owen and wife Chelnessee Matrina Rutledge Owen with their children born in Tyrone, MO, came to Benton County Arkansas around 1880 where they settled around Rodgers. It seems that several Rutledges or by marriage came along at about the same time. Some were same age group of Henry and Chelnessee, possibly siblings, but some were only about ten years younger than gggrandfather Stephen W. Rutledge. (Chelnessee's father). They may have come very early.

Hiram Kelly with second wife and three teen-aged daughters came from Atlanta, Georgia 1858 and eventually settled about 7,000 acres of land near Hindsville, Arkansas. and around War Eagle Creek. Some of that land is still in the family.

He was later joined by at least two sons with their families, Doctor Jesse R. Kelly and an older son, Joseph Kelly. Several of his married children remained in Georgia.

Austin Cemetery is very old and all Kelly's and collateral relatives interred there are identified.
