Information from Charles Gordon 1983 with permission to share with others: the result of about 15 hours research just completed at the VA State Library in Richmond, the depository of all VA County Records. It includes ... a complete list of VA Land Grants as well as complete Northern Neck grants, with descriptions, [which he has] included in material of the particular county.

Northern Neck Land Grants:
Jan. 18, 1705, to Henry Dunkin, Westmoreland Co., 197 acres at easternmost branch which falls into Col. Allerton's mill. (CJG: So, this land was in Westmoreland - Col. Allerton's daughter Frances m. Samuel Travers.)
May 15, 1692, to Richard Duncon, Richmond Co. (no description) - adjoining William Baltrop, Francis Grege.
July 27, 1715, to Robert Duncan, Richmond Co., 258 acres bounded by Rapp. R., Summerduck Run and some lowlands, surveyed for Hon. Robert Carter (CJG: I saw photostat of actual deed which gives Robert as from Stafford Co., but 1726 deed for same name, same place, says Richmond Co.; probably not important - land in present Fauquier Co. You have 1726 NN land grant to Robert Duncan.)
Oct. 4, 1726, to Thomas Dunkin, King George Co., on the Great Run of Rappahannock River at Marr's Run. (CJG: 10 days before 1726 grant of Robert Duncan on nearby Summerduck Run, both present Fauquier, possibly nephew of Robert Duncan, probably son of first Robert.)
May 23, 1748, to William A. Duncan, Orange Co., at Allen's Run and Gourdvine River. Another in 1756.
May 1, 1753, to William Duncan, Jr., and Rouland Duncan of Culpeper Co., at Little Fork of the Rapp. River adj. Francis Browning.
Dec. 16, 1788, to Joseph Duncan, Culpeper Co., on Allens Run adj. Slaughter.
Nov. 12, 1789, to William Duncan and William Roberts, Culpeper Co., adj. Green & Morris.
Dec. 24, 1789, to Charles Duncan, Culpeper Co., on Gourdvine Fork.
Sept. 12, 1731, to John Dunkan, Prince William Co., at Occoquon adj. Capt. Hooper and Francis Stone. (CJG: Occoquon in present Pr.Wm. near Fairfax line and nowhere near Rapp. River on the then route from Stafford Co. First I found in the area now Pr.Wm. I believe it is this John who died 1739, with wife Elizabeth and is not connected to Fauquier bunch but rather to Fairfax Co. Duncans. Trammel and other names show up with Duncans of Fairfax. He could also be my mythical John, brother of Thomas, will 1742, but he did not go to Fauquier. This man almost certainly connected to Westmoreland Duncans.)
Nov. 10, 1789, to Charles Duncan, Fauquier Co., on Tinpot Run adj. Wheattey.
