Duncan of Wheelock, sources listed were "Proceedings of the Sixth Annual Reunion of the Old Settlers' Association of Bell Co. Held at Belton, TX, November 5, 1904, and Papers Read at the Reunion" (no place: no publisher, no date), pp. (33)-34. Newton C. Duncan, a son of Mahala Duncan, a widow, was 11 years old when she was sworn as a Robertson colonist on February 26, 1836.
Vol.10, pgs.429-430, contain another brief mention of the Newton C. Duncan family in February, 1836.
