Pg.708: N.M. WILCOX. born in Tippah Co., MS, January 28, 1845. His parents were Nathan M. and Mary A. (Carter) Wilcox, the father a native of KY and the mother of IL. ... The father ... to TX in 1852, with his family, settling in Houston ... in 1863 he finally settled in Sullivan [Guadalupe Co.], on the Brazos river. Our subject is one of eight children, three having died in infancy. Their names are: William C.; N.M., the subject of this sketch; Charles H.; Walter W.; Laura C. married Frank M. Dunkin, a farmer near Waco. (JW: N.M. Wilcox married in 1882; lived Georgetown, Williamson Co. TX)
