      L-382: 25 June 1836, appeared the widow Sarah Anne (X) Duncan, citizen of Department of Nacogdoches whom I know; she sold to Albert Emanuel, citizen of Department of Nacogdoches, parcel of land containing one half a league or 2214 acres in Joseph Vebleins Colony about five miles below the crossing of the Neches on the E side about 32 miles from this place and 5 miles from Col. P.E. Beans plantation, being the 1/2 league of land granted her as a settler in said colony, the choice of selection of said half league to be vested in said Albert Emanuel, the remaining half belonging to Mr. James Boller of this place, the title and possession being given to the said widow Sarah Ann Duncan, $400. Wit. R.H. (K?.H.) Douglas, N.F. Smith. (also) Wit. Adolphus Stune, N.F. Smith. Rec. 10 May 1856. (FHL film 985,289)
