12-480: A.B. Duncan inventory and sales, Dec. 1857; sale 17 Oct. 1857; most sales to Malinda Epison, a few others; no Duncan purchasers; W.C. Potts admin. (FHL film 453,940)
MAD: Williamson Co. TN loose records: May 1858, Andrew B. Duncan departed this life in 1857 intestate. William C. Potts was appointed admr. of the estate. Andrew owned a tract of land containing about 135 acres conveyed by Thomas and Ellen Harris. Andrew left a widow, Nancy, and children: James, Susan, Louis, Alexander, and Mary Duncan who are residents of Kentucky. Thomas and Ellen Harris retained a lien on the tract of land of about $30 the amount of the unpaid portion. The estate is insolvent and it is necessary to sell the land to pay the debts of the estate. From "Misc. (loose) Records, Williamson Co. TN" Vol.5, pg.40, by Louis G. Lynch.
