SC Land Grants
      Land grants begin with Vol. 1 through 22; then apparently all or most were recorded in a second series, "Class 2" starting again with Vol. 1 and are identical in the 2nd series.
      1-536: 16 July 1784, SC State Grant to Henry Wolf, for £59.14, 594 acres in 96 Dist. on North Side of Saludy River about two miles above the fork bounding South East on land laid out to Joseph Houghs and all other sides on vacant land. (FHL film 22,532)
      2-438: 21 Jan. 1785, to Robert Duncan for £20 sterling, 200 acres in the District of 96 W of the Old Boundary, but the North side of Reedy River, bounding NE on land laid for James McElroy; plat certified 8 June 1784. (FHL film 22,533; also Class 2, 4-80, FHL film 22,545) (Greenville Co. SC)

Tygar River and Enoree adj. lines running NW, NE & E by lands of Sanders, NE by land unknown, NW SE & SW by land of McMillion, W & N on Richard Brassells and Ussery's lands, NW & NE on land of said Benson, the other sides by vacant land.       28-367: 2 May 1791, to Robert Duncan for 9 shillings 2p, 196 acres surveyed for him 7 Dec. 1787 in Dist. 96 in Greenville Co. on both sides Duncans branch of Reedy River, bounded by a line running NE by said Duncan land, NW on James Keelys land, SE by Charles Bensons land, NE on Duncans land; plat certified 13 April 1791.       63-522: 3 Dec. 1821, grant to Samuel Duncan, 392 acres in Greenville Dist. on some of the head waters of Mountain Creek and Beaver Dam Creek, waters of the Enoree River, and some branches of Ready River, bounded by John Salmon, Waddells, Philips, and vacant and Joel Clardy's land.
