      1-65/66: 19 May 1806, James Armstrong and Thomas Duncan, two of the surviving executors of the will of John Armstrong late of Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland Co. PA, decd, to Robert Beatty of Armstrong Co. PA, that John Armstrong owned a tract of land with appurtenances called Kittaning in late Westmoreland but now Armstrong Co. and willed the residue of his estate be sold, NOW James Armstrong and Thomas Duncan for $100 paid, sell to Robert Beatty the parcel of land at the NE corner of town of Kittaning, consisting of 3 triangular lots containing in the whole 10 acres more or less, together with appurtenances, warrant title. /s/ James Armstrong, Thos.       1-299/301: 11 July 1805, Thomas Duncan Esq. and Martha his wife, Robert Duncan Esq. and Eleanor his wife, all of Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland Co. PA, that Frederick Bates by deed 27 June 1804 sold to said Thomas Duncan and Robert Duncan one undivided half part to be divided in a parcel of land called by Kittaning Manor on the SE side of the River Alleghany formerly in Westmoreland now Armstrong Co. PA, adj. land surveyed in name of Rebecca Smith, by Kelly Poor land, side of Crooked Creek, containing 3,966 acres, and said Thomas Duncan & Robert Duncan and Martha and Eleanor their wives held the above estate with a certain Alexander Cobean and Elizabeth his wife of Adams Co. PA until by mutual consent the land was divided between them; NOW the said Thomas Duncan and Martha his wife and Robert Duncan and Eleanor his wife for 5 shillings PA money paid by Alexander Cobean, quit claim to said Alexander Cobean and Elizabeth his wife, their interest in the land in Armstrong Co. on the Allegheny River containing 2,458 acres, together with appurtenances. /s/ Thos.       3-249/250: 25 Aug. 1817, John Elliott of Pine Creek Twp, Lycoming Co., to Ann Ellen Duncan, dau. of Stephen & Harriett Duncan of said twp, that Robert Elliott, father of said John Elliott, died intestate owning a parcel of land in Armstrong Co. about 6 miles from the town of Kittanning containing 400 acres more or less, usually called Mahoning old town, at or near the mouth of Mahoning Creek, the said Robert died leaving a widow & ten children, whereby said John Elliott became entitled to one equal & undivided tenth part of said tract, NOW this indenture, the said John Elliott for $400 paid and advanced to him by Stephen Duncan, father of said Ann Ellen, and for $1 now in hand paid by said Ann Ellen Duncan, sell to Ann Ellen Duncan the one equal & undivided tenth of all that tract of land containing 400 acres more or less called the Mahoning old town in Armstrong Co., together with appurtenances. /s/ John Elliott. Lot 8, and sell Number 8 bounded by main street, adj. lot No.7 and line of Robert Park's land, being part of a larger piece of land that PA by patent 28 July 1817, enrolled in Patent Book H Vol.15 pg.73, granted said James Crosby, together with appurtenances, warrant title. /s/ James Crosby.       3-556: 9 June 1819, Jonathan Kearsley of borough of Harrisburgh, Dauphin Co., collector for 10th Collection District of PA and assigned to receive taxes due from non-resident proprietors of property in said state, Esq., to Robert Orr Junr of town of Kittanning, Armstrong Co. PA; that by US tax, and Stephen Duncan is named in the transcript as the assessed proprietor, ... land sold at public sale for taxes, by William Moorhead, late designated collector &c, to said Robert Orr, on 3 May 1817 for $3.50, this a deed to Robert Orr for 322 acres surveyed per warrant to Stephen Duncan in Kittanning Twp, Armstrong Co.       4-373/374: 16 June 1820, Samuel Matthews Esq., treasurer of Armstrong Co. PA, that a tract of land in Allegheny Twp, Armstrong Co. afsd, adj. lands of James Clark & others containing 410 acres more or less, warranted in the name of Thomas Duncan, was assessed for taxes for 1818 and 1819, in the whole of $3.58 unpaid for one year and upwards, land sold at public sale in 2nd month? in June 1820 to Philip Machling Esqr. the highest bidder, 410 acres more or less warranted in name of Thomas Duncan, with appurtenances. /s/ Samuel Matthews. Amicable action in partition, judgment by consent of partition of a certain tract of land in Kittanning Twp., Armstrong Co., adj. lands of Jonathan Smith and others ... of the main of Appleby containing 2,365 acres (very faint) and one moiety be divided and set off and ... said Thomas Duncan and his heirs and the other moiety ... half part to the said Ellen and Mary and assigned ... is divided? under the will of Robert? PA, adj. lands of Jonathan Smith Esq. on the bank of the Allegheny River, on the back line of Appleby Manor, allotted to Ellen Duncan and Mary Duncan, containing 651 acres and 21 perches, and the other tract on the bank of the Allegheny River on the upper line of said manor, containing 583 acres 57 perches. /s/ Thos. PA, that John Cristy and Moses Patterson by obligation of even date, bound to Thomas Chambers as admin. afsd for $4,678.90 (payment schedule not copied), to secure payment, sell tract of land on bank of Allegheny River in Armstrong Co. PA, adj. lands of Jonathan Smith Esq., corner of lands of afsd Thomas Duncan decd, corner of lot or division No.6, by lands of Ellanor and Mary Duncan, containing 349 acres and 7 perches, the same land that Thomas Chambers as admin of Thomas Duncan in 1833 conveyed to John Cristy and Moses Patterson. /s/ John Cristy, Moses Patterson. PA, decd, to John Christy of Armstrong Co. and Moses Patterson of Allegheny Co. state afsd, that Thomas Duncan owned tract of land on eastern bank of Allegheny River in Armstrong Co. PA, corner of lands of Jonathan Smith Esq., and by other lands of said decd, known by lot or division No.5, corner of divisions No. 2 & 6, by lands of Ellen and Mary Duncan, containing 349 acres and 7 perches, and Thomas Duncan on 7 June 1827 made his will authorizing his executors to sell, and constituted Martha Duncan, Stephen Duncan, Edward T. Stiles and John D. Mahon to be executors, recorded in Cumberland Co. Will Book K vol.1 pg.99&c, and Martha Duncan, Stephen Duncan and John D. Mahon settled their accounts and were dismissed without having sold the plantation, and letters of administration issued to said Thomas Chambers who for $3,839.45 paid by John Christy and Moses Patterson, sold the land, with appurtenances. /s/ Tho. PA, on bank of Allegheny River, by lands of Daniel Torney decd and estate of Robert Duncan decd, by land of George Williams & Jacob Hiteman, by other land of said Thomas Chambers, containing 304 acres 33 perches, which said Thomas Chambers admin. &c by deed 1 July 1835 conveyed to said John R.
