      PERSONAL MENTION -- Mr. Robert Duncan, of Scotland, is expected to arrive in a few days on the city of Rome, and will make Middletown his home hereafter. Mr. Duncan is a relative of Mr. James W. Reid, the genial superintendent of the Prudential Insurance Company of this city. Mr. Reid will go to New York to meet Mr. Duncan on the arrival of the steamer.
