      Part III, pg.121-122: STANTON, Albert C., p.o. Georgetown - ... (MAD: earlier generations not copied) Amos C., father of the subject, was born in Otselic, N.Y., May 7, 1798. He married and by his first wife had children, Samuel and Sally. He married second, Azubah Duncan in February, 1818. To this union were born two children: Harrison M., and Albert C., the latter being born in Otselic, July 30, 1835 (MAD: year as given). He was educated in the district schools and when he was twelve years old his father died and he with his mother removed to Georgetown. He was thrown on his own resources ... apprenticeship at the carpenter's trade, which he afterward followed until 1867, when he retired. On January 29, 1853, he married Susan Brown of Georgetown.
