      George Dunkan, 1698-1717 and later, a Quaker at the Cecil Meeting, referred to "Just six years later, in 1733, there is recorded the existence of a second Quaker Meeting at the opposite end of what is now Caroline Co. -- (then Queen Anns Co.). ... Two weddings, taking place here in 1735 and 1738 drew members of the Roe, Tillotson, Eubanks, Clothier, Kemp, Dunkan, and Thomas families."
