KY, to Robert Duncan of Daviess Co., that whereas some years since the said Duncan purchased of said Rowan as exec. of afsd estate a certain tract of land, part of 8,000 acre survey in name of George Mason in Daviess Co. on Yellow Creek, and said Duncan having lost said land by claim of Richard B. Mason and having brought suit against said Rowan and obtained judgement ... and being willing to take land to satisfy the judgement, NOW for $725.75, being part of said judgment that Duncan recovered against Rowan, the said Rowan as executor of said Joseph H. Daviess sell to said Robert Duncan land lying in Daviess Co. on south side Panther Creek, part of thirty thousand acre survey belonging to estate of Joseph H.       C-231/232: 30 July 1830, John Rowan, surviving executor or trustee of Joseph H. Daviess decd. to Stephen F. Ogden of Daviess Co. KY assignee of Samuel Duncan Jr., that Samuel Duncan Jr. purchased of said John Rowan a tract of land containing 71 acres on Yellow Creek in Daviess Co., part of a survey of 8,000 acres in the name of George Mason, the said Samuel Duncan Jr. was evicted and dispossessed of said land by the heirs of said George Mason under the decision of the Supreme Court of the US, and said Samuel being willing to take lands of the estate of said Joseph H. Daviess in remuneration, and a title bond having been rendered to him, and Samuel having assigned the said bond to the said Stephen F. Ogden, NOW sell to said Stephen F. Ogden assignee as afsd a tract of land containing 100 acres in Daviess Co. on south side of Panther Creek, being part of a 30,000 acre survey belonging to the estate of said Joseph H.       C-234/236: 13 July 1830, John Rowan, exec. of Joseph H. Daviess dec'd (/s/ by attorney in fact John Daviess), of Nelson Co. KY, to Samuel Duncan Sr. of Scott Co. MO; that (blank date) said Samuel Duncan purchased of John Rowan, exec., 200 acres and by purchase became entitled to another tract of 100 acres formerly purchased from the exec. by Charles Y. Duncan, both tracts in Daviess Co. KY on the Ohio River, part of a tract of 8,000 acres in the name of George Mason; Samuel Duncan and Charles Y. Duncan had paid to the exec. $700 (blank date) and said Samuel Duncan became entire owner of the tract of 100 acres sold to Charles Y. Duncan, and by decision of the Superior Court of the US, said Duncan lost the land, and in remuneration in part, the following land is conveyed by valuation of Capt. James W. Johnson and Col. Abner Lee; Now for $414 a part of the consideration above set forth, to said Samuel Duncan three tracts: (1) 547 acres near Wolf Branch foot of ridge, corner to Robert Duncan; (2) 506 acres on Lee's line, corner above tract and corner to Robert Duncan adj. G. Lishbrook's line; and (3) 147 acres adj. Abner Lee, G. Lishbrook, and last above tract; all part of 30,000 acre tract belonging to estate of said Joseph H.       E-471/472: (blank day) Sept. 1836, William Husk of Daviess Co. KY to John G. Duncan of afsd, that William Husk by bond obligated himelf to convey to James Barnett 60 acres and Barnett assigned the bond to said Duncan and he being desirous of a conveyance of said land, and in error to save trouble and expense the said William Husk agrees to make the deed to John G. Duncan instead of said Barnett, NOW for $1 paid by John G. Duncan to William Husk, sell to John G.
