KY, 120 acres; on 23 Dec. 1856 sold at public sale to John H. Swift for $638.50; John H. Swift authorizes the commissioners to make the deed to the North half of NE 1/4, Sec. 14, Twp. 3, Range 3E, 80 acres, to James C. Jones, being the same land on which Asahel Duncan resided at the time of his death. recorded "Calloway Circuit Court, May term 1858, C.A. Swift, the highest bidder, $638.50, who executed bond for the money with C.A. Duncan as his security, which is now satisfied, and by an indorsement made on said bond on 24 May 1858, John H. Swift authorises the commissioner to make the deed to 40 acres to Lewis Duncan, to be taken off the SW corner of said quarter section. Same endorsement regarding suit. (FHL film 321,417)

KY, $300, land on Jonithan's Creek, being 60 acres taken off E. side of NE 1/4 Sec. 29, Twp. 3, Range 5E, and 1/2 acre joining the other tract, bounded ... on the line between said Duncan and McDaniel.       K-527: 3 June 1859, Mary and Mary Ann McDaniel to Alexander Duncan, for the 60 & 1/2 acres land deeded Mary Ann McDaniel, grant to Duncan all their undivided interest in NE 1/4 Sec. 29, Twp. 3, Range 5E, being 1/5 part of land descended to Mary Ann McDaniel as heir of James McDaniel decd, and the interest of Mary McDaniel being her dower right in same.
