      R-1/2: Sheriff Clay Co. to Levina J. & Geo. W. Duncan Executors. Whereas Lavina J. Duncan Exx. and Giles W. Duncan Exr. of estate of George W. Duncan decd by judgement of Common Pleas Court in Clay Co. IN at Feb. term 1862, recovered against George Snellenberger and Elizabeth Snellenbarger the sum of $244.26 besides interest and costs, and to make the debt, interest and costs recovered and secured as afsd and accruing interest and costs, a copy of a decree of foreclosure was issued to Sheriff 8 April 1862, by virtue of which the Sheriff seized the property of defendants, the real estate hereinafter described and advertised, the Sheriff on 3 May 1862 offered for sale at auction, the real estate the SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Sec.17 Twp.9 Range 6 West in Clay Co. IN, at which time Lavina J. Duncan and Giles W. Duncan as highest bidder became the purchasers for $75, therefore to confirm the title, Calvin Reed, Sheriff of Clay Co., for the purchase money which has been paid, sell to said Lavina J.
