IL, the Court of Chancery made a decree in a cause pending between Mathew St.Clair Clark complainant and Mathew McCreary and others defendant, in a bill filed in Circuit Court of Cass Co. to foreclose a mortgage, the venue of the cause being changed to Sangamon Co. authorizing the commissioner to sell at auction Lot No.2 in Block 9 in Beardstown to satisfy the amount decreed due on the mortgage executed by Mathew McCreary to Mathew St.Clair Clark ... made sale ... after advertising, publishing a notice in public newspaper, real estate to be valued, on 18 Dec. 1841 public sale, Joseph Duncan the highest bidder at $235, and more than 15 months having expired since the sale and the lot not having been redeemed, the party of first part conveys to second part the lot of ground. /s/ Henry E. John Duncan hath also sold to said Marshall Duncan for the above specified sum, 4 head of horses which John now has in possession, also 4 milch cows, 1 clock, 7 head of sheep, 2 carey plows, one loom, one large kettle, one pair of harness, two axes and a small lot of hogs, all of which is hereby conveyed to said Marshall Duncan, but it is agreed that if John Duncan pay $100 to Dallas?
