            Letters of guardianship was ordered to be granted Suzanah Hopkins.
            Letters of guardianship was granted to John Dunkan.
      (MAD: nothing else given in entries) (HCH: This is a matter of months after Moses Hopkins' death and Susannah's application on 6 Jan. 1810 for letters of administration on Moses' estate. Susannah mentioned four children in her statement for the year of 1811, obviously when Barsheba was no longer in her household, and directly below Susannah's statement on these children (for board and clothing etc.) was payment of $7 to John Duncan, with no explanation of why payment was made.)

B, 1st Regt. GA State Troops Dec. 30, 1862. Pension records show he surrendered at Columbus, GA, May 1865. (Born in GA about 1843. Died in Clarke Co. GA in 1929. Buried in Oconee Co.)
      4:53: 37th Regiment GA Volunteer Infantry, Army of Tennessee; Co.B, 9th Battalion, Clarke & Madison Cos. GA: Charles B. Duncan, Private, March 4, 1862; transferred to Co.E, 37th Regt.
