IN MEMORY OF
Tomas Moffat late of Barbuie
who died 13th February 1820
Aged 62 years
Also Maty Hastings his wife who died
at Barbuie on the 23 Feb 1867 Aged
68 years. Also Alexander Moffat
Son of the above died and
buried at Newton Abbot 1879

Also
Jannet Kennedy Spouse to
Alexander Moffat Esqr of
Barbuie who died 29th May 1892
Aged 25 years.

The much older stone on the left is very easily read despite the style of running CAPITALS together.
HERE LYETH THE CORPSE OF JOHN MCVBIN IN MERVHIRN VHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE THE YEAR 1665 AGE 100
V = U or W	MERUHIRN = MARWHIRN
The discolouration seen in the photograph looked like paint but could be lichen growth.
