In Memory of Matthew his sun whose glass runneth out the 16th of June 1798 in the 22nd year of his age with an innocent character much lamented by friends and aquaintances.

In Memory of John Jardine, late tenant in Upper Cleugh died 3rd April, 1803 aged 59 years. Jannet Henderson, his spouse died 10th July, 1815 aged 71 years. Also Elizabeth daughter to William Jardine in Upper Cleugh died 16th May, 1816 aged 1 year. Also John son of William Jardine in Upper Cleugh died 24th September, 1821 aged 11 years.

In Memory of James Jardine, Platelayer, died at Lockerbie 23rd April, 1878 aged 65 years.
Also Julia Young his wife, who died at Mountpleasant 30th April, 1871 aged 57 years. Also Margaret Jardine, wife of William Bell, and youngest daughter of the above James Jardine, who died at 54, Fairfield Street, Govan, 8th May 1893 aged 43 years. Also Jessie Jardine, daughter of the above James Jardine, who died at 5, Cameron Place, Clydebank, Glasgow, 2nd February, 1897 aged 49 years. Erected by his fellow workmen.

In Memory of Jessie Jardine who died at Upper Dormont 28th January 1878 aged 65 years.
Also Peter Jardine formerly Upper Dormont who died at Noblehill Dumfries 15th Feb 1887 aged 70 years.
Also Margaret Jatdine sister of the above who died at Noblehill Dumfries 8th FEb 1896 aged 78 years.

In Memory of Frances (sic) Jardine in Milnbank died June 19th, 1799 aged 81 years. Also Agnes Chalmers, his spouse died 4th May, 1789 aged 60 years.

On Reverse: Agnes Johnstone, spouse to Francis Jardine in Nethercleugh died 1st September, 1808 aged 38 years.

In Memory of Robert Jardine in Applegirthtown who died April 9th 1807 aged 68 years. Also Janet Steel his spouse who died at Applegirthtown January 10th 1823 aged 89 years. Also Isabella Wightman spouse to William Jardine their son who died at Applegirthtown April 30th 1836 aged 52 years.

In Memory of William Jardine, who died at Mein Mill 18th Febr 1874 aged 52 years. Also Lillias Carruthers, his widow, who died at 6 Dalgarnoc Place,Thornhill 19th Decr, 1913, aged 79 years. Also Isabella Jardine, their daughter, who died at 24 New Street, Thornhill, 9th Sept, 1925, aged 52 years

In Memory of James Jardine son of James Jardine, Applegirthtown who died 20th March,1828 aged 23 years. Also Agnes his daughter died 19th August, 1829 aged 25 years. And Mary died 17th November, 1833 aged 19 years. Also above James Jardine died 6th July, 1843 aged 74 years. James Dickson grandson to James Jardine died at Lochmaben June 1962 aged 32 years.
