OES Events Include A Food Sale at Post
Cambridge Valley Chapter, OES, will sponsor a food sale Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. until noon at the office of the Washington County Post opposite the post office.  The line officers in charge include the Mmes.     At the October 28 meeting, Mrs. Small, delegate to the 101st annual Grand Chapter Sessions at Statler-Hilton Hotel, New York City, gave an interesting report of the three-day session.  Most important item of the sessions was the voting by delegates whether of not to join National Grand Chapter.  The delegates voted by ballot and the decision was 5,000 no, with only 424 delegates voting yes.  This means that chapters in the state will continue to operate under the present State Grand Chapter rules and regulations.
Mrs. Small announced that the district deputy for Warren-Washington District would be Mrs. Ruth Lennox of Glen Star Chapter, Glens Falls, and the district grand lecturer, Theodore Cross of Anolia Chapter, Hartford.
