Darlene's Genealogy Place is dedicated to the genealogy of the families I am related to, the counties where they lived and other areas of genealogy and history I love and would like to share with you. I hope that you enjoy reading this information and if you find a connection to one of these families please email me.
Some of the states where I do a lot of genealogy is Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. In addition to my family history, I volunteer for the American Local History Network by creating webpages for some of the counties where my ancestors lived; I volunteer for the TNGenWeb creating pages for Claiborne County, Tennessee and Familysearch by indexing the 1940 census. Over the last several years, DNA has come on the genealogy scene and has created a "wow factor" for genealogy research. I am Project Administrator for the Anderson DNA Project, Mize DNA Project and Aughe DNA Project. I have much more information to share so please check this website often!
