Tip of the month

Be sure to clean out your Internet Cache on a regular basis. A cache folder contains Web pages you have visited so you can retrieve them quickly from your hard drive the next time you visit the site. If you use more than one browser, you'll need to delete the files in each browser's cache folder. This is a fast way to free valuable disk space instantly. You can always reload the pages from the Web.

Be sure to clean out your Internet History files on a regular basis. The history contains all your browser's links to the Web pages you have visited recently. Each link is stored in a separate file. If you are a moderate to heavy Internet user, this folder can use a lot of hard-disk space.

My favorite program that does this at the click of a button is by Quarterdeck Corporation, 13160 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey, CA 90292-9705 called Quarterdeck CleanSweep.
