Fontyne Mortgage

Land and Property Records

Jaques Fontyne, vintneram, to Walter Thong; 30 Dec 1713; New York City, N.Y.; price L400; mortgage L200; due 1 May 1714.

The date of this transaction (5 May 1714) makes it evident that the above transaction and this one were interconnected. It seems possible that Jacques sold the land in Nine Partners Patent to pay for the first installment of the mortgage above.
