Page 18. Richardson (x) BARTLETT witnessed a Nov. 1787 deed between William DOBEY and wife Anne to John OLIPHANT, 100 acres Beaverdam Crk, and waters of Stevens Creek. Surveyed for John SUMMERS (original grantee), then assigned to James NAGILTON, then to Patrick TARVIS (Travis?) of Augusta, Ga., exor. of said James NAGILTON who sold it to William DOBEY March 1787. Other witness was Thomas HAGINS.

Page 48. William (and Wife Nancy) DOBEY to Absalon SHEALEY of the district of Ninety Six in SC, sold 250 acres in Ninety Six district on the head of COUCHE's Br. and waters of Edisto granted to said DOBY 1786. Wits: William MURPHEY, Don RITCHY, and Richardson (x) BARTLETT.
