Property Relinquishment, Rebecca Goode, Widow of Richard Goode
PROPERTY RELINQUISHMENT
Of
REBECCA GOODE
Dated August 21, 1805

Transcribed 1996 from LDS Microfilm. A note about the name "Lemuel"...Richard Goode had a son named Samuel; however, on each occasion that I have transcribed the name Lemuel, that is what it definitely appeared to be in this document. Although "S's" and "L's" are very often similar and confused in the early handwriting, it was the second letter, which always appeared to be an "e" (with the loop), that determined the final transcription. The only alteration from the original is the capitalization of surnames. Sandra G. Taylor.
