To the Honorable W. A. Hill, County Judge Live Oak County:

Comes now T. H. BARTLETT, Temporary Administrator of the Estate of John R. BARTLETT, deceased, and respectfully represents:

That in conformity with an order of this Court entered at its February Term 1907 he has paid to the heirs of said John R. BARTLETT, deceased, and to each of them, their respective portions of the proceeds of so much of the property belonging to said estate as came into his hands as such temporary administrator and has filed among the papers of this cause in this court receipts therefor from each of said heirs, as follows:

To Mrs. Sarah ATKINS, daughter of the deceased 89.77

To J. W. BARTLETT, son of deceased 89.77
To O. D. BARTLETT, son of deceased 89.77
To R. H. BARTLETT, son of deceased 89.77

To Ernest BARTLETT, grand child of deceased 22.44

Comes now T. H. BARTLETT, Temporary Administrator of the Estate of John R. BARTLETT, deceased, and makes this his report of his administration of said estate and says that the following is a true and correct statement of all the property belonging to said estate that has come into his hands as such Temporary Administrator, of the disposition made thereof, of that remaining on hand, of debts paid and collected, and of the money remaining on hand, as follows:

Q That there is certain land and town property belonging to said estate but that he was not authorized under his appointment to take charge of, and that he did not and has not taken charge of same nor any part thereof.

Following is a list of indebtedness owing by the estate and which has been paid as per vouchers and receipts filed herewith, all vouchers and receipts attached together and marked "Exhibit A", each voucher bearing a number corresponding to the number thereof as given in the following list: (Note: there are several listings - but I have only shown the one that tied my great grandfather to this BARTLETT line).

COPY OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENT IN POSSESSION OF CAROL SELANDER WHO OBTAINED COPY AND SAW ORIGINAL DOCUMENT ON MARCH 23, 1995 IN THE LIVE OAK COUNTY COURTHOUSE IN GEORGE WEST, LIVE OAK CO., TX

It appearing to the court from the applications of T. H. BARTLETT administration of the estate of J. E. BARTLETT deceased, filed on the 5th day of Oct 1895, that on the 31st day of Oct. A.D> 1895 J. E. BARTLETT et al for and in consideration of three hundred dollars ($300) to them paid by Oscar BARTLETT, the receipt of which was duly executed, sold to said Oscar BARTLETT the following described tract of land out of the lower part of a survey No. 27 patented to Jacob WATSON by Pat. No. 144 Vol. 9 in Live Oak Co., Tex Beginning at a stake on the right margin of the Nueces River the E. cor. from said sur. No. 27 marked M. Thence S. 1613 acres a part for the S. Corner of this said survey of 200 acres and the south con of said survey No. 27 - a Live Oak marked X bns S. 9 vns. Thence N. 45 W. a sufficient distance so that a line paralleled with the lower line of said 200 acres from the S. line of said Sur. to the right margin of the Nueces River will contain within it's metes and bounds 200 acres of land. That on the 30th day of November 1895 said J. E. BARTLETT died before executing said deed; that the land described in said deed was conveyed prior to the date of said deed by Mrs. Angeline BARTLETT, that she died before executing the deed to said Oscar BARTLETT and the object of said deed was to be _______out of said J. E. BARTLETT et al, the heirs of Mrs. Angeline deceased and rest the same in Oscar BARTLETT (my greatgrandfather).

The court having heard the application and ____ of to the allegations there in contained, believes that the order should be made. It is therefore ordered adjudged and decreed by this court that the said T. H. BARTLETT, Administrator of the Estate of J. E. BARTLETT, Deceased to and is hereby commanded to make and execute a deed to the said Oscar BARTLETT, conveying to him whatever interest the said J. E. BARTLETT deceased had in and to the above described land.
