"MRS. ANN M. MUIR died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. M.E. RICHARDS, No. 1000 Georgia Street, Wednesday night at 9:45 oclock, at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 5 days. Mrs. MUIR was born in Louisville, [Jefferson Co.] Ky., Jan. 30, 1804, and was the widow of Robert MUIR. She lived in LaGrange [Lewis Co., MO] for nearly 50 years, and about a year ago came here to live with her daughter, Mrs. RICHARDS. Her other children are Mrs. Agnes MUIR of this city, mother of Robert MUIR of this city; Mrs. Susan ALLEN of Clarence, Mo; and Prof. J. T. MUIR of the Kirksville normal school. She was the grandmother of Mrs. C. O. RYNERSON. Deceased had been a member of the Baptist church for over 60 years. The remains were taken to her old home at LaGrange today."

Notes..st: Ann Maria was the daughter of William BARTLETT and Dicey GOODE. She married Robert MUIR, 24 Dec 1827 in Henry Co. KY.
