The condition of this obligation is such that whereas (the said) [struck through] a marriage is about to be solemnized between the said Wm. TINGLE and Nancy BARTLETT daughter of said Samuel (of full age of) [struck through].
Now if it shall always appear that there is no just cause to obstruct said marriage then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue.
Know all men by these presents that we Wm. TINGLE and Samuel BARTLETT are held and firmly bound unto the commonwealth of Kentucky in the sum of fifty pounds the payment whereof well and truly to be made we bind ourselves, our heirs & jointly and severally firmly by these presents signed and sealed this 25 Janry 1825.
