WELCOME to our home....a BARTLETT genealogy site dedicated to sharing BARTLETT family and research with others so that one day we may all know who that long, lost ancestor was. This site was developed to serve as a central location for compiling all of those records and resources collected over the years in the hopes that one little tidbit found here may be the very clue another is looking for. Your comments, additions and corrections are always appreciated.
Various types of records have been contributed by generous researchers and to them we are most grateful. You are urged to use this information only as a guide to where you can obtain copies of original records.
If you would like to share some of your research with others, all you have to do is send me an email. Your generousity will be very much appreciated. This will be an ongoing project and new data will be posted just as quickly as possible, so have fun! And, don't forget..sharing is what this life is all about. We sure can't take all this stuff with us.
Thanks for dropping by!
BARTLETT-L is the original Bartlett genealogy group, established in December, 1996, first on the Maiser genealogy server from Indiana University, and then transferred to Rootsweb after the crash of Maiser in mid-1997. We have many experienced genealogists in our group who have accumulated years of resource material and who are always willing to help. We all love a challenge!
During the past year Rootsweb has been completely updating the mailing list software, as well as their servers, making list use much more secure. Following are the new instructions to subscribe/unsubscribe to Rootsweb mailing lists and a link to
Help for Mailing List Subscribers with much very helpful information. Even if you have already been subscribed to Rootsweb mailing lists for a long period of time, PLEASE read the instructions on this page. It will be different from what you have been used to.
To Subscribe to a list send email to (in this case BARTLETT):
[listname]-firstname.lastname@example.org with the word subscribe in both the subject line and body of the message.
To unsubscribe send to same address but
change the word "subscribe" to unsubscribe in the address, the subject line and in the body of the message.
