To any regular Ordained Minister of the Gospel, Judge, Judge of the Police Court, or acting Justice of the Peace in said County, Greeting:
You, or either of you, are hereby authorized to solemnize the Rites of Matrimony between Jesse Hall and Margaret Jane Croslin and join them together as Man and Wife, in holy estate of wedlock; your Official Certificate whereof you are to return, together with the License, into the Office of the Clerk of the Probate Court of said County, within the time prescribed by law.

That We Jas R Sively & W F Crosslin are held and firmly bound unto the State of Mississippi in the special sum of Two Hundred Dollars, the payment whereof will and truly to be made; we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and adminstrators jointly, severally and firmly by these presents. Signed by us and sealed with our seals this 10th day of December A.D. 1859.
THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That whereas a marriage is intended to be solemnized between Jas R Sively and Susan Crosslin and a license therefor has this day been granted; Now if there be no lawful cause to obstruct said marriage, then the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
