After Jemima's death in 1877, Thomas King married 2) Mary Louise Shelton, 18 Oct 1877 Webster County. They became the parents of eight children; one of whom, Robert Lee King, is buried here. Their daughters Elizabeth Ann Burton, Mary T. Melton, Mariah F. Burton, and Margaret T. Melton, are all buried in this cemetery, as is their granddaughter, Mirtie B. King.
