     Zahra' bint Husayn ibn al-Hasan Banu Hâshim was born circa 700. She was the daughter of Husayn ibn al-Hasan Banu Hâshim.² Zahra' bint Husayn ibn al-Hasan Banu Hâshim married Abu Farisi ibn Abu 'Abed al-Hirahi, son of Abu 'Abed ibn Qabus al-Hirahi, circa 725.

     Abu 'Abed ibn Qabus al-Hirahi was born circa 610. He was the son of Qabus ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi.²

     Qabus ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi was born circa 580. He was the son of King of al-Hirah al-Nu'man III abu-Qabus ibn al-Mundhir al-Hirahi.²

     Salma bint al-Sa'igh was born circa 525. She married King of al-Hirah al-Mundhir IV ibn Hind al-Hirahi, son of King of al-Hirah al-Mundhir III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi and Hind bint Harith Banu Kinda, before 550.¹

     King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi was the father of King of al-Hirah al-Mundhir III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi; the son of Imru'u al-Qays III and his arabian bride Ma al-Sama.³ King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi carried off, in a previous incursion into Arabia, the unrivalled beauty Ma-al-Sama, or "water of the heavens", who bore him a son and successor, named Mundzir.³ He was born circa 473. He was the son of King of al-Hirah al-Nu'man II ibn Aswad al-Hirahi.² King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi married Mariyah ma al-Sama al-Arabiyya before 503.^1,3 King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi became fixed in the government of Hira following an interregnum period following an Arabic invasion of western Syrian and al-Hirah in 503.³ King of al-Hirah at Mesopotamia (Iraq) between 503 and 513.³ He was the predecessor of King of al-Hirah al-Mundhir III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi; King of al-Hirah.^4,5,3

     Mariyah ma al-Sama al-Arabiyya was the mother of King of al-Hirah al-Mundhir III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi; the son of Imru'u al-Qays III and his arabian bride Ma al-Sama.² Mariyah ma al-Sama al-Arabiyya was surnamed Celestial Water, for her beauty, an appellation which became hereditary, and was extended for a more noble cause (liberality in famine) to the Arab princes of Syria.³ She was a famous beauty Imru'u al-Qays III carried off in a raid in Arabia..² She was born circa 478. She married King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays III ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi, son of King of al-Hirah al-Nu'man II ibn Aswad al-Hirahi, before 503.^1,2

     King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays II ibn al-Nu'man al-Hirahi was born circa 413. He was the son of King of al-Hirah al-Nu'man I ibn 'Amr al-Hirahi.²

     King of al-Hirah 'Amr II ibn Imru'u al-Qays al-Hirahi was the son of King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays I bar 'Amr al-Lakhmi al-Hirahi.² King of al-Hirah 'Amr II ibn Imru'u al-Qays al-Hirahi was a convert to Christianity, according to certain Arabian authors, but this fact is improbable; it is not unlikely that Christianity had been introduced among his subjects before the beginning of the fourth century
.³ He was the successor of King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays I bar 'Amr al-Lakhmi al-Hirahi; King of al-Hirah.⁴ King of al-Hirah at Mesene, Iraq, between 328 and 380.⁵ King of al-Hirah 'Amr II ibn Imru'u al-Qays al-Hirahi was the predecessor of King of al-Hirah al-Nu'man I ibn 'Amr al-Hirahi; King of al-Hirah.^6,3

     King of al-Hirah 'Amr I al-Lakhmi bar Adi al-Hirahi was the father of King of al-Hirah Imru'u al-Qays I bar 'Amr al-Lakhmi al-Hirahi; the son of 'Amr bar Adi.⁴ Al-Hirah was similarly a Bedouin tribal kingdom, the kings of which are commonly designated the Lakhmids. According to tradition, the founder of the dynasty was 'Amr, whose son Imru' al-Qays died in AD 328 and was entombed at An-Nimarah in the Syrian desert.⁵ King of al-Hirah 'Amr I al-Lakhmi bar Adi al-Hirahi was the first king of the Lakhmid dynasty.⁶ He was the successor of King of Anbar and al-Hirah Jodzeima bar Malik the Azdite; King of Anbar.⁷ King of al-Hirah 'Amr I al-Lakhmi bar Adi al-Hirahi was born circa 235. He was the son of Adi bar Rabi'a al-Lakhmi and Raquash bint Jodzeima al-Hirahi.^2,3 King of al-Hirah 'Amr I al-Lakhmi bar Adi al-Hirahi was adopted by his grandfather Jodzeima as his successor before 268.⁴ He avenged his grandfather's death by killing Zenobia/Zebba after 268.⁴ King of al-Hirah at Mesopotamia (Iraq), Persian Empire, between 268 and 288.⁴ He was the originator of the Lakhmid kingdom, which developed essentially as an Iranian vassal state, at the late 3rd century AD.

     'Ali Iqbal-ud-Dawlah ibn Mujahid al-Dani was born circa 1020. He was the son of Mujahid ibn Yusub al-Dani. Ruler of Dania at Alcante, Spain, between 1045 and 1075.

     Yasub of Denia was born in 959.¹

     Lakhmite king of Yemen.³ Adi bar Rabi'a al-Lakhmi married Raquash bint Jodzeima al-Hirahi, daughter of King of Anbar and al-Hirah Jodzeima bar Malik the Azdite, at Mesopotamia (Iraq).⁴ Adi bar Rabi'a al-Lakhmi was born circa 195. He was the son of Prince of Yemem Rabi'a bar 'Amr al-Lakhmi.² Adi bar Rabi'a al-Lakhmi was went to Iraq with his family ahead of an Abyssinian invasion of Arabia in 205.⁵ He was a witness where Prince of Yemem Rabi'a bar 'Amr al-Lakhmi had a dream which foretold an Abyssinian invasion and immediately sent off his family and adherents to Iraq in 205.³

     Raquash bint Jodzeima al-Hirahi married Adi bar Rabi'a al-Lakhmi, son of Prince of Yemem Rabi'a bar 'Amr al-Lakhmi, at Mesopotamia (Iraq).¹ Raquash bint Jodzeima al-Hirahi was the daughter of Jodzeima who married Adi son of Rabia.² She was born circa 200. She was the daughter of King of Anbar and al-Hirah Jodzeima bar Malik the Azdite.

     Prince of Yemem Rabi'a bar 'Amr al-Lakhmi was the son of 'Amr al-Yamani.² The following characteristic legend of Rabia is cherished by Mahometan writers. He was affrighted by a portentous dream; the diviners were summoned; but, as in the case of Nebuchadnezzar, they could not tell the interpretation unless the dream were made known to them. At last two diviners were introduced, each of whom separately narrated to the king both the dream mind its signification : - "Thou sawest a flame burst forth from the darkness; it fell upon the land of Tihama, and devoured every living thing." The flame prefigured the Abyssinians, who would overrun Yemen from Aden to Najran, and rule for above seventy years. After that, proceeded the diviners, these invaders would be overthrown, and would be succeeded by an inspired prophet of the Coreishite stock, to whose rule all Arabia would submit, and whose law would prevail until the day of judgment.³
Prince of Yemem Rabi'a bar 'Amr al-Lakhmi was of the Cahanite stock and Bani Lakhm tribe.³ He had a dream which foretold an Abyssinian invasion and immediately sent off his family and adherents to Iraq in 205.⁴

     'Amr al-Yamani was the son of Harith al-Yamani.²

     Humaysa al-Yamani was the son of 'Amr al-Yamani.²

     'Amr al-Yamani was the son of Arib al-Yamani.²

     Zayd al-Yamani was the son of Kahlan bar 'Abd Shams Saba al-Yamani.²

     Malik al-Yamani was the son of Zayd al-Yamani.¹

     Kahlan bar 'Abd Shams Saba al-Yamani was born 0700-0400 B.C. At circa.³ He was the son of Abd Shams Saba "the Great" al-Yamani.² The descendants of Cahlan, scorning the restrictions of place and the self-imposed wants of a sedentary residence, betook themselves to the free and wandering occupations of the Bedouin.³ Also called Cahlan.³ Kahlan bar 'Abd Shams Saba al-Yamani was ancestor of the Cahlanites.³ He was the ancestor of Harith ibn 'Amr Banu Kinda; a descendant of Kinda and Kahlan's.⁴

     Abd Shams Saba "the Great" al-Yamani was the son of Yashub al-Yamani.² Abd Shams Saba "the Great" al-Yamani constructed or repaired the famous lake-embankment (Sadd Mareb) in the vicinity of that city ; - remains of it being traceable at the present day.³ He was said to have been the founder of the city of Mareb or Saba, represented by classical writers, under the name of Mariaba, as the capital of the Sabeans, and situated upon a mountain.³

     Yashub al-Yamani was the son of King of Yemen Ya'rab al-Yamani.² Yashub al-Yamani was the father of Abd Shams Saba the Great.³

     King of Yemen Ya'rab al-Yamani was the son of King of Yemen Qahtan al-Yamani.² King of Yemen Ya'rab al-Yamani was the father of Yashjob.³ He was the son of Cahtan, first King of Yemen.³ Also called Yarob.³ He expelled or destroyed the Adites, consolidated the empire of Yemen, and gave to his brothers Oman and Hadhrarnaut (the story is perhaps a myth) the government of the two countries thenceforward called by their names.³

     King of Yemen Qahtan al-Yamani was born 0827-0500 B.C. At circa.^1,2 He was the father of King of Yemen Ya'rab al-Yamani; the son of Cahtan, first King of Yemen.² It is this Cahtan whom Mahometan writers have identified with Joktan (Yectan), the sixth from Noah; but the identification is one of those extravagant fictions which the followers of Islam, in their zeal to accommodate Arab legend to Jewish scripture, have made in defiance of the most violent improbability, and the grossest anachronisms.² The first of the Yemen dynasty is the great Cahtan. To calculate the era at which he lived, we must note the number of generations between him and Dzu Nowas, the last of the Himyar race. As adjusted by M.C. de Perceval, they amount to thirty nine; which, at thirty-three years to a generation (admittedly high, but still used), gives an interval of 1,287 years. Now the birth of Dzu Nowas may be placed approximatively at 460 AD; so that the era of Cahtan would by this calculation be carried back to 827 B.C.² Also called Cahtan.³ This is the earliest ancestor of the Yemen kings, and also ancestor of the Lakhim Dynasty of al-Hirah.³

     Husayn ibn al-Hasan Banu Hâshim was born before 669. He was the son of al-Hasan al-Mujtaba ibn 'Alî, 2nd Holy Imam of Islam and Jada bint al-Ash'ath.²

     Jada bint al-Ash'ath was born circa 644. She was the daughter of al-Ash'ath (?). Jada bint al-Ash'ath married al-Hasan al-Mujtaba ibn 'Alî, 2nd Holy Imam of Islam, son of 'Alî al-Murtadha ibn Abû Tâlib, 1st Holy Imam of Islam and Fâtimah al-Zahra bint Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allâh Banu Hâshim (as), before 669; "He had upwards of 90 wives and 300-400 concubines."¹

     Also called Fatima bani Assad (as). Fatima bint Assad ibn Hashim al-Qurayshiyya was born circa 556. She was the daughter of Assad ibn Hashim al-Qurayshi.¹ Fatima bint Assad ibn Hashim al-Qurayshiyya married Âbu Tâlib ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib, Clan Chief, son of 'Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hâshim, Clan Chief and Fatima bint Asad al-Makhzumiyya, before 581.¹

     Assad ibn Hashim al-Qurayshi was born circa 526. He was the son of Hashim of Quraysh.

     Fatima bint Asad al-Makhzumiyya was of the Bani Najjar.² She was born circa 525. She was the daughter of 'Amr al-Makhzumi. Fatima bint Asad al-Makhzumiyya married 'Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hâshim, Clan Chief, son of Hâshim ibn 'Abd al-Manâf al-Qurayshi and Salma bint Adi ibn Najjar al-Khazrajiyya, before 545.¹

     Salma bint Adi ibn Najjar al-Khazrajiyya was the daughter of Adi ibn Najjar al-Khazraji. Salma bint Adi ibn Najjar al-Khazrajiyya was daughter of Amr, a Khazrajite of the Bani Najjar.² She was of the Bani Najjar.³ She was first married to Oheiha, and bore him two sons, but that then divorced her.² She was discreet, and withal comely, and made a tender impression upon the heart of Hashim.² She married Hâshim ibn 'Abd al-Manâf al-Qurayshi, son of 'Abd al-Manâf al-Mujira ibn Qusayy Zaid al-Qurayshi and Atika Bani Qay, before 500; Her 2nd (divorcee).¹

     'Abd al-Manâf al-Mujira ibn Qusayy Zaid al-Qurayshi was the father of Hâshim ibn 'Abd al-Manâf al-Qurayshi; the son of 'Abd al-Manaf by Atika of the Banu Qay.⁵ Abd Menaf was named Al Camr from his beauty; but it is said that his proper name was Al Mughira; his mother however dedicated him to Manaf, tite greatest idol at Mecca; and so that name prevaled over the other.⁵ 'Abd al-Manâf al-Mujira ibn Qusayy Zaid al-Qurayshi was named Manaf after one of the Meccan gods.⁵ He was the father of al-Muttalib ibn 'Abd al-Manâf al-Qurayshi; the son, some say the eldest, of 'Abd al-Manaf by Atika of the Bani Cay.⁵ 'Abd al-Manâf al-Mujira ibn Qusayy Zaid al-Qurayshi was the father of 'Abd Shams ibn 'Abd al-Manâf al-Qurayshi; the son, the eldest per M.C. de Perceval, of 'Abd al-Manaf by Atika of the Bani Qay.⁵ 'Abd al-Manâf al-Mujira ibn Qusayy Zaid al-Qurayshi was born circa 430.^6,1,5 He was the son of Qusayy Zaid al-Mujammi' ibn Kilab al-Qurayshi and Princess Hubba of Khuzd'ah.^3,2,4 'Abd al-Manâf al-Mujira ibn Qusayy Zaid al-Qurayshi married Atika Bani Qay before 464.¹

     Atika Bani Qay was the mother of Hâshim ibn 'Abd al-Manâf al-Qurayshi; the son of 'Abd al-Manaf by Atika of the Banu Qay.² Atika Bani Qay was the mother of al-Muttalib ibn 'Abd al-Manâf al-Qurayshi; the son, some say the eldest, of 'Abd al-Manaf by Atika of the Bani Cay.² Atika Bani Qay was the mother of 'Abd Shams ibn 'Abd al-Manâf al-Qurayshi; the son, the eldest per M.C. de Perceval, of 'Abd al-Manaf by Atika of the Bani Qay.² Atika Bani Qay was born circa 444. She married 'Abd al-Manâf al-Mujira ibn Qusayy Zaid al-Qurayshi, son of Qusayy Zaid al-Mujammi' ibn Kilab al-Qurayshi and Princess Hubba of Khuzd'ah, before 464.¹

     Also called Cossai.⁶ Governor of Mecca at Arabia. Also called Qusayy "the Unifier".³ Qusayy Zaid al-Mujammi' ibn Kilab al-Qurayshi was the grandfather of As'sad ibn 'Abd al-Uzza al-Qurayshi; the grandson of Cussei.⁷ Qusayy Zaid al-Mujammi' ibn Kilab al-Qurayshi was born circa 400 at Mecca, Arabia.¹ He relocated to Syria following the death of his father. His mother remarried, to a man from the highlands of Syria, and they relocated after 400 at Syria. He was the son of Kilab al-Qurayshi and Fatima (?).^4,2,5 Qusayy Zaid al-Mujammi' ibn Kilab al-Qurayshi returned to Mecca on reaching adulthood and reunited with his family after 420 at Mecca, Arabia. He married Princess Hubba of Khuzd'ah, daughter of Chief Hulayl of Khuzd'ah, before 430.⁸ Qusayy Zaid al-Mujammi' ibn Kilab al-Qurayshi was credited with bringing together scattered groups of Bedouin and installing them in Mecca circa 500.³ Qusayy Zaid al-Mujammi' ibn Kilab al-Qurayshi was buried in al-Hajan, a hill near Mecca, Arabia.⁶

     Princess Hubba of Khuzd'ah was born circa 405. She was the daughter of Chief Hulayl of Khuzd'ah.² Princess Hubba of Khuzd'ah married Qusayy Zaid al-Mujammi' ibn Kilab al-Qurayshi, son of Kilab al-Qurayshi and Fatima (?), before 430.¹

     Adi ibn Najjar al-Khazraji was the son of Najjar al-Khazraji. Adi ibn Najjar al-Khazraji was the father of Salma bint Adi ibn Najjar al-Khazrajiyya; daughter of Amr, a Khazrajite of the Bani Najjar.¹

     Hashim of Quraysh was born circa 496.
