Lord of Ashby at Lincolnshire, England. Geoffrey de Nevill, Lord of Ashby was born circa 1140 at Horncastle, Lincolnshire, England.2 He was the son of Gilbert de Nevill and Philicia (?). She was the daughter of Graf von Flandern Dietrich von Elsaß and Sibyl d' Anjou.2 Marguerite d'Alsace, comtesse de Flandres was the successor of comte de Flandre et de Vermandois Philippe I d' Alsace; 16th Count of Flanders.4,2 Marguerite d'Alsace, comtesse de Flandres married Rudolph II de Vermandois circa 1160; Her 1st. Marguerite d'Alsace, comtesse de Flandres married Baudouin V "le Courageux", comte de Hainaut, son of Baudouin IV "le Batisseur", comte de Hainaut and Alix de Namur, in April 1169; Her 2nd. This marriage was arranged to quiet the rivalry between Flanders and Hainault.6,7 Marguerite d'Alsace, comtesse de Flandres succeeded her brother, Philip I, to the duchy of Flanders in 1191. She was co-ruler with Baudouin V "le Courageux", comte de Hainaut; 17th Count of Flanders.3,2 Marguerite d'Alsace, comtesse de Flandres died on 15 November 1194 at age 59 years.6 Marguerite d'Alsace, comtesse de Flandres was buried in Brugges, Belgium.

Between 31 December 1189 and 21 October 1190.7 Luitpold V "der Tugendreiche", Herzog von Österreich took part in the 3rd Crusade between 1190 and 1192.6 Duke of the Steiermark at German Empire between 1192 and 1194.5 He was a witness where Richard I "Cœur de Lion", roi d' Angleterre captured and imprisoned by fellow crusader Leopold V on 22 December 1192 at near Vienna, Austria.6 Luitpold V "der Tugendreiche", Herzog von Österreich imprisoned Richard the Lionheart on his return from the 3rd Crusade on 22 December 1192 at near Vienna, Austria.6 He was a witness where Richard I "Cœur de Lion", roi d' Angleterre released by Leopold to Emperor Henry VI Easter 1193.6 Luitpold V "der Tugendreiche", Herzog von Österreich released Richard the Lionheart to the Emperor Henry VI and used part of the ransom to fund construction in Vienna Easter 1193 at Easter.6 He died on 31 December 1194 at Graz at age 37 years. He died following an accident.6

Duke of Bavaria at Kingdom of Germany, German Empire, between 1156 and 24 June 1180.6 He and Clementia von Zähringen were divorced in 1162.10 Heinrich XII "der Löwen", Herzog von Sachsen und Bayern married Matilda d' Anjou, daughter of Henri II "Courtmanteau", roi d' Angleterre and Aliénor d' Aquitaine, reine d' Angleterre, on 1 February 1168 at Minden Cathedral, Saxony, Germany; His 2nd.3,4,11 Heinrich XII "der Löwen", Herzog von Sachsen und Bayern sentenced, in absentia, to lose his Saxon fiefs on 13 January 1180 at Würzburg, Germany. He found his confiscated Duchy of Bavaria divided between Otto of Wittelsbach, who was created Duke, and Styria seperated as another Duchy, by Frederick in a diet at Altenburg on 16 September 1180.12 He was the predecessor of Otto I, Herzog von Bayern; Duke of Bavaria.6,12 Heinrich XII "der Löwen", Herzog von Sachsen und Bayern was completely dispossessed by Frederick, retaining only Brunswick, and banished to England for three years in 1181.12 He returned to Germany and recovered much of Saxony and Holstein in October 1189.12 He died on 6 August 1195 at Braunschweig, Germany, at age 66 years.1,5 Banished to England in 1181 for three years. His male-line descendant, George I would be crowned there in 1714 to rule as it's King, and the male-line then ends with Queen Victoria, who ruled 1837-1901.

She was later reinstated as Queen and bore Philip a son.6 Baudouin V "le Courageux", comte de Hainaut sided with Flanders against the French King, Philip Augustus, who wished to annex Flanders circa 1182.6 He was a witness where comte de Flandre et de Vermandois Philippe I d' Alsace set out on the first Crusade, and entrusting his wife, children, and affairs to Baldwin V of Hainault, in 1188.6 Baudouin V "le Courageux", comte de Hainaut became co-ruler of Namur with his maternal uncle, Henry, in 1189. 9th Count of Namur at Holy Roman Empire between 1189 and 1195.5,3 He finally gained the gratitude and friendship of Philip Auguste by supporting him against the ambitions of the English King, Richard Lionheart, circa 1190.6 He came to be count of Flanders by right of his wife and as successor to his ally, Philip of Flanders, in 1191. Tsar of Bulgaria Ivan Asên I Belgun was a descendant of landowners and boyars from Turnovo whose family name was Belgun.1 He was crowned tsar as Ivan Asen I in 1186 at Veliko Tarnovo, Second Bulgarian Empire.1 He and Tsar of Bulgaria Petar IV Belgun led a popular rising of Vlachs and Bulgars and proclaimed their independence from the Byzantines in 1186.1 Tsar at Second Bulgarian Empire between 1187 and 1196.2 Tsar of Bulgaria Ivan Asên I Belgun married Eirene Doukaina, daughter of Despot of Epirus, Emperor of Thessalonica Theodore Doukas.3 Tsar of Bulgaria Ivan Asên I Belgun died in 1196. He was killed by one of his boyars, Ivanko.1

Styled Ildefonsus Dei gracia rex Aragonum comes Barchinone et marchio Province (Alfonso by the grace of God king of Aragon, count of Barcelona, and marquis of Provence) in 1174.13 He married Sancha Alfonsez de Castilla, daughter of Alfonso VII "el Emperador", Rey de Galicia, de León y de Castilla and Richilde, Królewna Polska, on 18 January 1175 at Zaragosa, Spain.14,15,16,6 Alfonso II "el Casto" , rey de Aragón y Cataluña and Alfonso VIII Sánchez "el de Las Navas", rey de Castilla were made a pact in 1179. This pact of Cazorla fixed the future zones of reconquest for the two countries. Alfonso II "el Casto" , rey de Aragón y Cataluña was the predecessor of Alfonso II, conde de Provence; Count of Provence.6 Alfonso II "el Casto" , rey de Aragón y Cataluña left a will before 25 April 1196; In his will Alfonso followed the Spanish custom of dividing his kingdom: Provence, which went to Alfonso II, was thus lost to the Aragonese crown, which went to Peter II.      Also called Margaret of Hereford.2,3 Margaret Filia Milonis de Gloecestria was eldest daughter and eventual coheir of Miles of Gloucester, Earl of Hereford and Constable of England.4 She was born in 1127.2 She was the daughter of Miles of Gloucester, Earl of Hereford, and Constable of England and Sibyl de Neufmarché.2 Margaret Filia Milonis de Gloecestria married Humphrey III de Bohun of Trowbridge, Constable of England, son of Humphrey II "the Great", seigneur de Bohon and Matilda of Salisbury.4,5,1 Margaret Filia Milonis de Gloecestria was took possession of her deceased brother's estates in England in 1165. She held them for some 30 years until she was forced to give up some of these lands to the FitzHerberts (her little sister's family). Margaret and her heirs retained 2/3 of the estates at issue. (source: Earldom of Hereford Charters, David Walker). She received 17 parts from her father Milo's provinces and 3 3/4 parts of her brothers' land in 1166.5 She died in 1197 at age 70 years.2

He was born in 1132 at Wales.2 He was the son of Gruffydd ap Rhys, Brenin Deheubarth and Gwenllian verch Gruffydd o Gwynedd.1 King of Deheubarth at Wales between 1155 and 1197.3 Chronicle of Ystrad Fflur 1156: "In this year when Rhys ap Gruffudd heard that Owain, prince of Gwynedd, his uncle was coming with a great host to Ceredigion, he vigorously gathered a host. and he came as far as Aberdyfi, and there he raised a ditch to give battle."4 Rhys ap Gruffydd, Prince of Wales married Gwenllian verch Madog o Powys, daughter of Madog III ap Maredudd, Tywysog Powys and Susanna ferch Gruffudd ap Cynan o Gwynedd.2 Prince of South Wales between 1170 and 1197.5,6,7 Rhys ap Gruffydd, Prince of Wales died in 1197 at age 65 years. He died of the plague.8
