     Ramón Berenguer I "el Viejo", conde de Barcelona also went by the name of Ramon Berenguer "the Elder" of Barcelona.3 He was born between 1023 and 1024.1,3 He was the son of Berenguer Ramón I "el Curvo", conde de Barcelona, Gerona y Ausona and Sancha Sánchez de Castilla.1,2 Count of Barcelona at Catalonia between 1035 and 1076.1,4,3 Ramón Berenguer I "el Viejo", conde de Barcelona was a witness where Ermesinde, regente de Barcelona established herself in Gerona and claimed the greater part of her grandson, Ramon Berenguer I's, dominions as her own circa 1036.5 Ramón Berenguer I "el Viejo", conde de Barcelona married Isabel de Béziers before 1045; His 1st.5 Ramón Berenguer I "el Viejo", conde de Barcelona was able to extend his influence in two directions after a preliminary struggle with his grandmother, who had established herself in Gerona and claimed the greater part of his dominions as her own, and extended his frontiers as far as Barbastro by conquests from the Moors; and in other directions, more especially in the south, where Moorish chieftains and governors paid him tribute and acknowledged his supremacy.5 He his brother, Sanç, renounced his inheritance in his favor in 1049.1 He married Adelmodie de la Marche, daughter of Bernard I, comte de la Marche and Amelie, in 1053; His 2nd. Her 3rd.5 Ramón Berenguer I "el Viejo", conde de Barcelona his brother, Guillem, renounced his inheritance in his favor thus reuniting the lands of his father in 1054.1 He expanded his domain by securing control over the adjacent counties of Ampurias and Pallars after 1054.1 He managed to consolidate the fealty of the counties south the Pyrenees - Cerdanya, Besalú, the Ampurdan, Urgell, and Pillars - as well as the Roussillon to the north between 1055 and 1067.6 He most noted for his achievement of convoking the local Cortes (assembly) and having it deliberate on a choice of Roman and medieval laws for Catalonia, the result was the promulgation of the celebrated legal code known as the Usatges de Barcelona, between 1064 and 1068.1 He expanded further into Provençal territory by buying a large tract of it, the counties of Carcassonne and Rasès, for five thousand ounces of gold, between 1067 and 1071.6 He died on 26 May 1076 at Barcelona?, Spain.1,3 He left a will; His will shows that he held almost as much territory north of the Pyrenees as in the peninsula itself.5

He was the son of Siward Digera, Earl of Northumbria and Ælfflæd of Northumbria.1,2,3 Waltheof Siwardsson, 1st Earl of Northumberland, Huntingdon and Northampton was underage at the time of his father's death, leaving him unable to take over the earldom of Northumbria, in 1055.5 He became Earl of Huntingdon and Northampton on the banishment of Earl Tostig in October 1065.6 1st Earl of Huntingdon and Northampton at England in October 1065.2,1,6 He was not known to have opposed the Conqueror in 1066.6 He was taken to Normandy in 1067.6 He joined the Danes in their descent on Yorkshire, distinguishing himself in the attack on the city of York in 1069.6 He was the successor of Gospatric fitz Maldred, Earl of Northumberland; Earl of northern Northumbria, beyond the Tees.7,8,1,9 Waltheof Siwardsson, 1st Earl of Northumberland, Huntingdon and Northampton married Judith "the Countess" de Lens, daughter of Lambert, comte de Boulogne and Adelaide de Normandie, in 1070.1,10,11 Waltheof Siwardsson, 1st Earl of Northumberland, Huntingdon and Northampton submitted himself, when the Danes left England, to William, and was restored to his Earldom of Huntingdon in January 1070.6 1st Earl of Huntingdon and Northampton at England between January 1070 and 1076.6 He was became Earl of Northumberland after Gospatrick, following, at last, his father to the Earldom, but only to the northern portion of it, in 1072.2 Earl of northern Northumberland, beyond the Tees at England between 1072 and 29 April 1075.1,2 He was a witness where 1st Earl of Norfolk and Suffolk Ralph de Gaël entered into a conspiracy against King William with his brother-in-law, Roger, 2nd Earl of Hereford, in 1075 at spring or summer.12 Waltheof Siwardsson, 1st Earl of Northumberland, Huntingdon and Northampton witnessed the marriage of 1st Earl of Norfolk and Suffolk Ralph de Gaël and Emma of Hereford in 1075 at spring or summer, Exning, Suffolk, England; His 2nd.13,12 Waltheof Siwardsson, 1st Earl of Northumberland, Huntingdon and Northampton attended the wedding of Ralph de Gael, Earl of Norfolk, and was enticed to join the conspiracy of the Earls of Norfolk and Hereford to seize England for themselves in 1075 at spring or summer, Exning, Suffolk, England.10 He was a witness where Roger de Bréteuil, 2nd Earl of Hereford entered into a conspiracy against King William with his brother-in-law, Ralph de Gael, Earl of Norfolk, in 1075.12 Waltheof Siwardsson, 1st Earl of Northumberland, Huntingdon and Northampton repented his decision to rebel and taking Lanfranc's advice, went to Normandy and asked pardon of the King, who initially gave it, treating the matter lightly at the time.10 He was brought to trial on Christmas for joining the conspiracy on 25 December 1075 at Winchester, England.10 He imprisoned until the trial resumed in May 1076 at Winchester, England.10 He died on 31 May 1076 at St. Giles Hill, Winchester, Hampshire, England. Condemned and beheaded on the Feast of St. Petronella, for conspiring against the King William. s.p.m.2,14,10 He was the predecessor of Bishop of Durham Walcher of Durham; Earl of northern Northumberland, beyond the Tees.2 Waltheof Siwardsson, 1st Earl of Northumberland, Huntingdon and Northampton was buried in Lincolnshire, England. A fortnight later, the Abbot Ulfketel, at Judith's request, and by the King's permission, removed his body to Crowland, where it was honorably entombed. This place was hallowed ground, the burial place of St. Guthlac, to which Waltheof was a benefactor in life, and where, in death, he was said to have performed posthumous miracles.14,10 He was the predecessor of Simon de St. Liz I, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon; 2nd Earl of Huntingdon and Northampton.15

     Also called rey Sancho IV Garcés "el Noble" de Pamplona.2 Sancho IV Garcés "el de Peñalén", rey de Pamplona was the successor of García IV Sánchez "el de Nájera", rey de Navarra; King of Pamplona.3,4 Sancho IV Garcés "el de Peñalén", rey de Pamplona was born circa 1043.5 He was the son of García IV Sánchez "el de Nájera", rey de Navarra and Estefania de Foix.1 Sancho IV Garcés "el de Peñalén", rey de Pamplona succeeded his father to the throne of Pamplona, though his uncle's victory reduced the kingdom of Navarra to a vassal state of Castile-Leon in 1054. King of Pamplona at Navarre, Spain, between 1054 and 1076.5,4 He married Placentia , wife of Sancho IV Garces in 1057; His 1st. Sancho IV Garcés "el de Peñalén", rey de Pamplona concluded an alliance with al-Muqtadir, king of Zaragoza, to protect themselves against the outcome of a new South France crusade called by Pope Gregory VII against the Muslims in Spain, on 25 May 1073.6 He persuaded the Moorish king of Saragossa to become his vassal, and act which offended his cousin, Alfonso VI of Castile, who subsequently invaded Pamplona in 1074.5 He died on 4 June 1076 at Peñalén, Navarre, Spain. On the instigation of his cousin, Alfonso VI of Castile, he was pushed off a cliff by his own brother and sister in one of the more spectacular assassinations of the eleventh century.5,7 He was the predecessor of Sancho I, rey de Aragón y de Pamplona; King of Pamplona.4

     Basileus Rhomaiôn Michael VII Parapinaces Doukas was the eldest son of Constantine X Ducas.4 He was the successor of basilissa Rhomaiôn Eudokia Makrembolitissa; Empress.5 Basileus Rhomaiôn Michael VII Parapinaces Doukas was born in 1059 at Constantinople, Byzantine Empire.4 He was the son of basileus Rhomaiôn Constantine X Doukas and basilissa Rhomaiôn Eudokia Makrembolitissa.2,1,3 Basileus Rhomaiôn Michael VII Parapinaces Doukas was the successor of basileus Rhomaiôn Constantine X Doukas; Emperor.5,6 Basilissa Rhomaiôn Eudokia Makrembolitissa was regent for basileus Rhomaiôn Michael VII Parapinaces Doukas; Regent.7 Emperor at Byzantine Empire between 21 May 1067 and 1078.5 He was co-ruler with Romanus IV Diogenes, basileus Rhomaiôn; co-Emperor.5,7,8 Basileus Rhomaiôn Michael VII Parapinaces Doukas married Empress Mariam Bagrationi, daughter of Bagrat IV, King of K'art'li and Ap'xazet'i and Borena, Princess of the Ossetians, in 1071; Her 1st.3,9 Basileus Rhomaiôn Michael VII Parapinaces Doukas proclaimed sole emperor, after Romanus IV's defeat by the Seljuq Turks at Manzikert, on 23 October 1071.4 He witnessed the marriage contract of Associate Eastern Emperor Constantine Doukas and Helen de Hauteville circa 1078. His policies hastened the conquest of Asia Minor by the Turks.4 Basileus Rhomaiôn Michael VII Parapinaces Doukas was the predecessor of Nikephoros III Botanteiates, basileus Rhomaiôn; Emperor.5,10 Basileus Rhomaiôn Michael VII Parapinaces Doukas was abdicated and became a monk on 31 March 1078.4 He died in 1078 at Ephesus, Samos, Byzantine Empire, at age 19 years.4

     Richard I, Prince of Capua was born circa 1020. He married Fressenda de Hauteville, daughter of Tancred de Hauteville and Fredesende de Normandie, circa 1042.1 Count of Aversa in 1049.1,2 Prince of Capua at Italy in 1058.2 Richard I, Prince of Capua died in 1078.2
