He was among the Sons of Miled who were the first Celts to come to Ireland, driving the Old Gods into the Otherworld, and founding the Milesian dynasty of Irish Kings. Also called Heremon.2,10 He was the son of Míl Espáne mac Bile and Princess Scota of Egypt.2,1,3 Éremón mac Míled was born. The seventh, and youngest, son.10 He conquered and settled in the northern half of the island and there his descendants are mainly to be found to this day, including the northern and southern Ui Neill, King of Meath and Ulster, the Ulaid, the Dal Riada (who later founded the kingdom of Scotland) and the Kings of Leinster.11 He may be the one called Djer Amon (Beloved of Amon), or Eirhe Amon by the Irish, whose son Eochaid, High King of Ireland, married Tamar Tephi, daughter of Zedekiah of Judah. The Egyptian reference came from his mother, a Princess of Egypt, sister to Psamtic II, who was titled Princess of Scythia, or the second "Scota" known to the Irish.3 He married Tea ingen Lugdach, daughter of rí Mumhan Lugaid mac Ítha, at Spain; His 2nd.12 Éremón mac Míled was a witness where Míl Espáne mac Bile outraged by the death of his uncle, Ith, at the hands of the Tuatha de Danann of Ireland, he gathered a great fleet and sent his sons, nine in number, to demand either kingship or battle.13
