     N. N. (?) was born say 1267. She married Walter of Cornwall Knt., of Branell, son of Richard, "of Cornwall," Earl of Cornwall.¹

     Hugh Peverell Knt., of Hamatethy was born say 1247.

     CP Volume 12, part 2, page 248, note f: Nothing is known of Eleanor's parentage but she may have been a Bohun. A seal, said to be hers, bears the Bohun and Verdun arms (Staffs Hist. Coll., William Salt Arch. Soc., 1913, p. 298) and the name of her s., Humphrey, may be significant.

Further evidence supports the identification of Eleanor as a Bohun, probably a daughter of Humphrey de Bohun, earl of Hereford (d. 1275). She was still living in 1277.² Eleanor de Bohun was born say 1235. She was the daughter of Humphrey de Bohun, 6th Earl of Hereford, 7th Earl of Essex, and Constable of England and Maud d' Eu.^1,2 Eleanor de Bohun married John de Verdun Knt., of Alton, son of Theobald, 2nd Baron Butler and Rohese de Verdon, before 1267; His 2nd.^1,3

     Maud de Mortimer was born say 1303. She was the daughter of Roger, 1st Earl of March and Joan de Geneville.¹ Maud de Mortimer married John, 2nd Lord Cherleton of Powys, son of John, 1st Lord Cherleton of Powys and Hawys Gadarn, before 13 April 1319.¹

     Laurence de Pabenham Knt. was born say 1342.

     John Belcher of Braintree was born say 1634. He was the son of Gregory Belcher of Braintree and Catherine Alcock. John Belcher of Braintree married Sarah (?).¹ John Belcher of Braintree witnessed the will of Gregory Belcher of Braintree; The inventory of his estate, showing a total of 629 pounds 5 shillings, was represented by his widow, 29 Jan 1674/75, proved 20 Jul 1680; gives to son, Josiah, a cow ' if he molest not my son Moses in his present dwelling and posessions"; to son, John, a cow and a horse; to daughters, Elizabeth Gilbert & Mary Marsh, and granddaughter, Mary Marsh, some household effects; "to son Moses (who hath all his life carried himself so dutifully to myself and his father) the great Bible and the whole house and land he now possesses which I declare his father gave him." Sons, Moses Belcher & Alexander Marsh, executors.²

     Sarah (?) was born say 1644. She married John Belcher of Braintree, son of Gregory Belcher of Braintree and Catherine Alcock.¹

     Dolor Davies was born say 1604 at Kent, England.² He married Margarey Willard, daughter of Richard Willard of Horsemonden and Margery Humphrie, on 29 March 1625 at East Fairleigh, Kent, England.^3,4 Dolor Davies immigrated arriving circa 1634.⁵ He lived in 1634 at Cambridge, Massachusetts.¹ He was a a carpenter and a master builder. He lived in 1640 at Duxbury, Massachusetts.¹ He was in the list, he "and his sons," of those able to bear arms in 1646.¹ He lived on 27 August 1648 at Barnstable, Massachusetts.¹ He held many public offices in Barnstable, including those of highway surveyor and constable. He was one of the proprieters in 1655 at Groton.¹

     Ebenezer Owen was born on 3 March 1657/58 at Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of William Owen and Elizabeth Davies.¹ Ebenezer Owen was one of twelve Braintree Militiamen who served under Capt. Johnson at the taking of the Narragansett stronghold in Kingston, R.I., in King Phillip's War in 1675.¹ He married Hannah Belcher, daughter of John Belcher of Braintree and Sarah (?), before 1690 at Massachusetts; Her 1st.¹ . He was buried at sea off Cape Ann. He died of small pox returning from a military expedition under Sir William Phipps.¹

     Richard Willard of Horsemonden was born say 1572. He was the son of Simon Willard.¹ Richard Willard of Horsemonden married Margery Humphrie, daughter of Raynald Humphrie.¹ Richard Willard of Horsemonden left a will on 12 February 1616.¹ His will was proved on 8 March 1616/17 .¹

     Thomas Belcher of Wardend was born say 1576. He was the son of Gregory Belcher Yeoman, of Berkswell.^1,2 Thomas Belcher of Wardend witnessed the will of Gregory Belcher Yeoman, of Berkswell on 20 March 1620; The will of Gregory Belcher, yeoman, of Berkswell, co. Warwick, dated 20 Mar 1620, mentions wife Joane;

     Also called Clarice.² Clarice la Warre ? was born between 1285 and 1290.² She was the daughter of Roger, 1st Lord La Warre and Clarice de Tregoz.¹ Clarice la Warre ? married Adam, 1st Baron Everingham, son of Robert de Everingham and Lucia de Thweng, before 12 January 1307/8.²

     Lucia de Thweng was born say 1260. She was the daughter of Robert de Thweng, Lord of Kilton.¹ Lucia de Thweng married Robert de Everingham, son of Adam de Everingham; Her 2nd (divorcee).¹

     Isabel de Birken was born say 1210. She was the daughter of John de Birken and Joan Lenveise.^1,2 Isabel de Birken married Robert de Everingham in 1229/30.¹ Isabel de Birken was sister and sole heiress of Thomas de Birken in 1231.^1,2

     Joan Lenveise was born say 1190. She was the daughter of Jordan Lenveise.¹ Joan Lenveise married John de Birken, son of Matilda de Cauz, the Lady of Laxton.¹

     Jordan Lenveise was born say 1160.

     Matilda de Cauz, the Lady of Laxton was born say 1155. She was the daughter of Robert de Cauz.¹

     Robert de Cauz was born circa 1120.¹ He was the son of Walter de Cauz, Lord of Laxton.¹

     Also called Denise FitzWilliam.³ Denise fitz Thomas was born say 1216. She was the daughter of Thomas fitz William Knt., of Sprotborough and Agnes de Bertram.^2,1 Denise fitz Thomas married Robert d'Eiville Knt., of Egmanton, son of John de Daiville and Maud de Percy.^3,1

     Thomas fitz William Knt., of Sprotborough was of Sprotborough, Emley, Woodhall (in Darfield), and Barborough at Yorkshire, England.¹ He was of Plumtree at Nottinghamshire, England.¹ Also called Thomas FitzWilliam.² He was born between 1195 and 1200.¹ He was the son of William fitz William of Sprotborough and Ela de Warrenne.¹ Thomas fitz William Knt., of Sprotborough married Agnes de Bertram, daughter of Roger de Bertram II, Knt., 5th Lord Mitford and Agnes (?).^2,1 Thomas fitz William Knt., of Sprotborough was of age in 1226.¹ He was granted free warren in Emley, Woodhall, and Barnborough, Yorkshire, and Plumtree in Nottinghamshire, and a weekly and yearly fair at Emley in 1235.¹ He witnessed a deed for his cousin, William son of John Lisours circa 1250.¹ He was a prisoner to the king at the Battle of Chesterfield in 1266.¹

     Maud de Percy was born say 1164. She was the daughter of Joscelin de Louvain and Agnes de Percy.¹ Maud de Percy married John de Daiville, son of Robert de Daiville and Juliana de Montfort.¹

     Agnes (?) was born say 1176. She married Roger de Bertram II, Knt., 5th Lord Mitford, son of William de Bertram II, 4th Lord Mitford and Alice de Umfreville.¹

     William fitz Godric was cousin [sic] to King Edward the Confessor.² He was born say 1140. He was the son of Godric (?).¹ William fitz Godric married Aubrey de Lisours, daughter of Robert de Lisoriis of the honour of Blythe and Albreda de Lacy.¹
