Jefferson Wiley got a Final Certificate on the parcel on March 13, 1897, but I don't know what happened in the intervening period. This portion is the east 78 acres owned by "F. W. Lain" in 1907. West relinquished Lot 2 to Ephraim Ramsey on May 22, 1899 and he in turn relinquished it to Joseph Ramsey on Aug. 6, 1906 who immediately commuted it for cash. This corresponds to the northwestern 38 acres owned by John Ramsey in 1907.

John A. Blizzard filed on part of the Iowa portion Sept. 24, 1891, and Thaddeus P. Smith filed on another part on Aug. 16, 1892. Blizzard got his final certificate on Oct. 21, 1893 and Smith got his June 29, 1900.
